What does it mean when you're incredibly lonely but don't want to be near anyone? I don't want to talk to anyone. I don't want to see anyone. But still, I feel like it would be nice to have some company.

I haven't been feeling too well. Bored with food again, and it's all been making me sick anyway. I odered some comics and they should get here the next couple days, so that should cheer me up a bit.

So, Phillip Phillips won American Idol. I figured he would, as good as Jessica is, I knew he would take it. But anyway the finale was kinda lame overall. I didn't really enjoy it. It used to be so good, they used to have so many big stars who would come and preform, and now it's like... eh.

Ah well.

I had the strangest dream last night.

I was back at TRU, but instead of Glenda and the ladies it was a bunch of men in charge, and everyone who was working there were delinquents like from a juvenile center or something. It was strange. And I was working in lego, but everything I had to move was the completed set, so there were these huge displays all over the place but no where to put them.

I don't know.

Went out golfing today with mom & dad. I hadn't been out for about... two years? So we just went to the small 9-hole course nearby to get back into it. I was doing quite well until we got to about the 4th hole and I got majorly dizzy and nauseas because of the heat. I went ahead and finished the whole course, but man. You win this round, sun.

Besides that, not much has been going on. Burl's creek is coming up in June so I'm looking forward to that, and later on in June we're all going to Niagara Falls, so that'll be fun.

So, going to housesit in Toronto again at the end of June~

Some friends/neighbours of my aunt and uncle are going on vacation and they need someone to watch their pets and all that, so I'm doing it! For like two weeks starting the 23rd, so that'll be nice.

I hate crying.

I feel like a failure.

Oh dear god, I'm in so much pain right now. For the past couple weeks I've been having a bit of pain in my back when I wake up, and today it's gone overboard. I seriously need to buy a new mattress, this is crazy.

In other news, Gravel is taking freaking forever to come in and ship out from Amazon. It's said "usually ships within 7 to 9 days" for like the entire month of May, and now it's jumped up to 10 to 11 days. I don't know. Besides that, Wormwood hasn't moved from 1 to 4 months since I ordered it in February, so with that I'll be happy if I get it before the end of the year even. I think from now on, I'll keep my distance from comics that have some sort of wait on them.

Also! Finished reading Transmetropolitan last night, and I was so dissappointed by the ending. Sigh.

Went and saw The Avengers with Nate today, and oh man, that movie. It was like a beautiful dream. So good. SO GOOD, YOU GUYS. We ended up going in a bit late, so we were sitting right up at the front, but oh well. A small glitch in an otherwise delightful experience.

Afterwords went to Kelsey's for dinner (which I'd never eaten at, save maybe once when I was a kid), and it was alright. Like 90% of the options had onions? Super lame, so I got a salad, which was huge, but it was just enough and I don't feel stuffed so full I could burst, so A+

So yeah, all in all, a good night. Borrowed some more comics off him; the last of Transmetropolitan, vol.1 of Locke & Key, Northlanders (yesss), and X-Factor. So yay.

Anyway, besides that, Survivor finale. I haven't posted much about this season at all, mostly because I don't like any of the people there. Still don't. I mean, this season was just so boring! But anyway Kim won, figured she would, and she also won the fan favorite, which... yeah. Whatever. :/

Had a dream about Nick Fury, he told me to take no prisoners. And I didn't.

At auction today I bought all the comics, a grand total of ( 251 )

I ended up overpaying (and spending more than I had wanted to anyway), since there was this old Asian lady who was floating around and bidding, driving up prices on a bunch of different things. Ah well. Win some, lose some. But besides that, there was this one girl who came up to me after I had bought them all, who had just wanted one single comic for her husband, Batman #503, so I sold it to her for $5. Woo~

Hah~ About one more day and I'll be done reading through one short box. I started with The New Mutants, and man! I didn't realize how much I'd missed reading single issues. These stories are so cute and innocent, I kinda feel like a kid again! So refreshing. I'll probably move onto The Avengers next~

Besides that, I've gotta start working out again. I've been so lazy the past couple weeks, but I've gotten down to 145 and kept it around there. Yay! Let's just hope I can get back into some sort of groove and keep losing (but stop looking on the scale every day because that was seriously depressing).

Went and hung out with Jackie today, gave her some comics that I had duplicates of (Avengers and New Mutants). It was fun catching up and talking, it's like we never stopped, haha. So easy. Talked about comics and anime and work and life and pretty much everything else under the sun.

But man, it was so cold out. All this snow came out of nowhere and it was windy and ugh. Oh well. Still good times.

Went up to the auction with dad today! It was out in Pottageville, about 40 minutes away, so we woke up early (8am, lord almighty) and drove out so we could make the viewing (9am) and get good seats. Checked out the comics, there were about 5 shortboxes and 6 longboxes, and way more people were looking them over than I had expected.

It took forever to get to them, but once they finally did, I cleaned house. 3 Longboxes and 2 shortboxes, totalling at least 500 approximately 922. And here we go:

It worked out pretty well too, for what I ended up paying it equalled out to be about 70 cents per comic.

And that's pretty much all. Grandpa's coming up tomorrow and we're going out for dinner. I'm not sure if Dennis is coming as well, since it's my birthday, though it's not as though grandpa's coming up specifically for that reason, it just ended up being the same weekend. Eh.

AI. Colton. Really, America? Really? I mean I wasn't a big fan of his stuff yesterday but I don't think he should've gone home for it, especially when Elise was (is) so much worse. I mean, I like Hollie and all, but I really thought it would've been her. Wow. Seriously.

Anyway. Started watching this other show, Full Metal Jousting, which is pretty neat! I like the guy who jousted today on the red team, Josh Avery. He's so good, man. Yes. Next week's episode looks like a good one, someone gets a bloody face!

I guess that's all.

This week has gone by so slow. Probably because I actually have something to do that I'm looking forward to. Sigh.

Mom brought me two Russian books back from York today, Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Little Collected Works", and a collection with Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" and "The Martian Chronicles". Kinda neat, though I can't read them. Oh well, they look nice on my bookshelf anyway, haha.

Got a weird call today that I'd won (well actually, the wording was "my application was accepted", the hell?) a cruise to the Bahamas. I don't remember entering anything for a trip, and I certainly didn't register or apply for one, but the girl on the phone said it was through hotmail, which she had my email address for. Super suspicious!

So I asked her if I could get some sort of additional confirmation for this thing, through email or whatever, and she was like, "yep, it seems we have the right person!" so I hung up after telling her I wasn't really aware of this trip that was being offered. Too weird. There hasn't been a call back so I'm assuming it was a scam. :/

Anyway. Going out to an auction on saturday which has got a bunch of comics up for bid. From what I've read there's some old DC stuff, some 80's/90's Marvel, old Archie Comics, and other stuff like that. The majority of them aren't pictured, but it says there're lots ranging from 80 - 250. Sweet! I'm pretty excited and will probably buy all the comics.

Went to Toronto today... ah, saturday, for Ukrainian Easter. Mom & dad had a meeting at work to go to so it worked out well for going down. Anyway, went to the church then to Uncle Pete's for dinner and more early birthday celebration. Got a scarf made by Aunt Anna's mom, some hand & foot moisturizer stuff, a mini-Rose bush, and $300. Sweet!

Yeah. For all that I had to wake up at like 10, and only got about 4 hours of sleep, I'm quite tired now and will be going to bed.

So, mom and dad decided to give me my birthday present early today! They got me a bunch of comics!! I mean, dad had asked me what I wanted, and got me to make a list of 10, so out of those they picked what to get. Still basically a surprise, but definately getting something I wanted. Win/Win! :D

The reason they gave them to me now was because with Transmetropolitan I hadn't written any volumes down (since I don't own any), so they weren't sure but got it anyway, and then if I did have it they would've taken me to the comic store in Toronto they went to (apparently a really nice one) to have it exchanged and whatnot. But everything's good!

Besides that, American Idol! Holy crap! I can't believe Jessica had the least votes, I mean they saved her of course, but christ! What is going on with America, seriously? Anyway, Elise really needs to go. Like yesterday. She's so terrible.

Well, went to the doctor earlier today (much earlier, don't know why I didn't post sooner), and it turns out some lymph nodes in my neck were swollen, so no big deal. The doc said they get inflammed as a result of infection, sickness and whatnot, but since I'm not sick, and haven't recently been sick, it was a bit unusual... more of a preemptive strike, if you will.

So I got some antibiotic pills (gross) that I have to take twice a day for the next week. If my nodes are still swollen after that I should go back and get an x-ray done. But I'm sure it'll be under control.

Besides all that the clinic was packed, and I had to wait around for a bit over three hours. Sigh. At least I'll be getting some comics soon.

Went and put money on the card to buy my comics, unfortunately I can't do math and ended up about 60 cents short. So I changed my order around a little bit, and switched out Desolation Jones for Hellboy vol.10 Tank Girl: The Odyssey NOTHING!*

I don't know what's going on but Amazon is being a right bastard and not accepting my card. I have enough money, even after changing my order numerous times, I know I do. The only thing I can think of, is that Money Mart took off their monthly fee thing already and it left me short. In which case, Money Mart are the ones being bastardly and I'll only be getting Strange Girl.

So, just a minor setback. I'll order Jones again some time later. Probably August the way things are, but I can always hope I'll get an Amazon Giftcard for my birthday. haha. Either way, it'll work out fine.

Anyway. Might go to the clinic and see a doctor on monday. I found a weird lump in the side of my neck and it's a slight bit concerning.
